group includes singers accompanied by
instrumentalists on keyboards, drums,
guitar and bass. The group is directed
by
Mr. Michael O'Hern.

Espree
to perform for your church, civic, or
social function, please call the Lake
Highlands Choir room at 469-593-1061
or email the
Choir
Director.
There is no charge, although donations
(benefiting the LHHS Choir program) are

Be sure to visit and thank the generous
Espree Sponsors. Their contributions
help support the whole choir program!
Espree
is
popular with school and community
audiences
throughout the Dallas area for musical
talent, showmanship and exuberant
performances.
Espree’s
repertoire
includes Broadway songs, Country
favorites, classic hits from many
decades, holiday songs, and current
popular music. Solos, duets, and
choreographed group production numbers,
complete with costumes, highlight each
performance.
Espree’s
twelve singers and six instrumentalists
are selected through
competitive auditions
each spring by a panel of independent
expert judges, in cooperation with the
director. Each singer is also a member
of A Cappella Choir, the school’s top
choir.
Espree
rehearses for a class period during each
school day, enhancing their musical
knowledge and skills and preparing for
performances.
Over the years
Espree
has performed throughout Texas.
Espree
delights audiences in Colorado during
their
annual holiday ski trip.
Twice,
Espree
has been selected to perform before
4,000 leaders from throughout the state
at the annual convention of the Texas
Association of School Boards; and in
1999 Espree performed for the Texas
Retired Teachers Association convention.
